What “Inquire, Hilkiah” is All About

If you are a follower of Jesus, you are already a part of an ancient movement. A Jewish Messianic sect, starting with handful of terrified men and women in Jerusalem, and bursting out with resurrection power to the edges of the world. But the movement doesn’t stop there; the Spirit of Jesus is creating a movement in our local churches, in our homes, and in our hearts It’s fueled by his word, by dependent prayer, and by love. The result is tangible and glorious.

Maybe the first flicker of this fire in your life is the same as it was in mine–maybe you’ve started to read your Bible.

I mean to really read it.

To pray hard, to read like our lives depend on it, and to seek Christ in every word, and with every breath. It’s life-giving, and we want to do all we can to not stifle it, to not snuff out the smoldering wick.

That’s what this blog is birthed out of. A growing passion to seek the Lord in his Word, and to rally together and encourage each other to go “further up, and further in.”

He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
